Ottawa Mayor Dan Aussem announced Friday the city of Ottawa is accepting applications for another round of Downstate Small Business Stabilization grants.
This program uses federal Housing and Urban Development CDBG funds and is administrated by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. The grant program makes funds available for 60 days of verifiable working capital up to a grant ceiling of $25,000 and is available for qualifying businesses that employ 50 people or less.
“As the COVID-19 pandemic continues on, financial stress on businesses continues to build," Aussem said in a press statement. "We want to use this program to assist every Ottawa business we can and help them get through these challenging times.”
Interested businesses should contact Dave Noble, Ottawa director of economic development, at 815-433-0161, ext. 220, or email@example.com
